Mr. Montgomery has been with Quist Valuation since 2009. A preeminent, independent business valuation firm specializing in valuing emerging companies for FAS157, IRC 409A, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, restricted stock, gift and estate taxes, intellectual property, blockage discounts, purchase price allocations, incentive stock options, secondary offerings, Initial Public Offerings, and pending acquisition purposes.
Prior to Quist, Mr. Montgomery worked in business valuation with Duff & Phelps, LLC and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP in Atlanta, GA. While at Duff and Phelps and Deloitte, Mr. Montgomery specialized in business valuation for tax and financial reporting purposes, working with firms ranging from small privately owned businesses to Fortune 500 institutions as well as some of the world's premier private equity firms.
Mr. Montgomery holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship form the University of Georgia.
